Ingredients

Here’s everything you’ll need to make this rich and gooey cookie pie:
  • 1 deep-dish 9-inch pie crust unbaked
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¾ cup butter softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • Vanilla ice cream optional, for serving

Method

    1. Prep the oven & crust
Set your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the unbaked pie crust into a deep-dish pie pan and shape the edges as desired. Set aside.
    2. Whip the eggs
In a large bowl, beat the eggs at high speed until they turn pale and slightly frothy.
    3. Mix the batter
Add the flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar to the eggs. Mix until smooth. Then add the softened butter and continue mixing until the batter is fully combined and creamy.
    4. Add the mix-ins
Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts, making sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
    5. Fill the crust
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell and spread it out evenly.
    6. Bake to perfection
Bake for 50–60 minutes. The pie is ready when a knife inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean.
    7. Cool & serve
Let the pie rest on a wire rack for about 30 minutes before slicing.
