Method
1. Prep the oven & crustSet your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the unbaked pie crust into a deep-dish pie pan and shape the edges as desired. Set aside.
2. Whip the eggsIn a large bowl, beat the eggs at high speed until they turn pale and slightly frothy.
3. Mix the batterAdd the flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar to the eggs. Mix until smooth. Then add the softened butter and continue mixing until the batter is fully combined and creamy.
4. Add the mix-insFold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts, making sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
5. Fill the crustPour the mixture into the prepared pie shell and spread it out evenly.
6. Bake to perfectionBake for 50–60 minutes. The pie is ready when a knife inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean.
7. Cool & serveLet the pie rest on a wire rack for about 30 minutes before slicing.
